Amsterdam, 1-4-2021

To date, Bijlsma Group has the fortunate position to still leave its customers carefree. Stocks are guaranteed, production of materials are planned well in advance and we do not foresee any extreme or unexpected difficulties for Q2, 3 and 4 of 2021.

Nevertheless, we are dealing with a tense time; COVID-19, global shortage of logistics equipment and raw materials that have a price-pushing effect and recently one of the largest sea-going vessels that blocked one of the most important logistical arteries, possibly resulting in weeks of delays with a run-through of delays until the end of the year mainly due to the congestion in the ports of discharge.

Fortunately, we are not experiencing any problems for the time being, we comply with the COVID-19 measures provided by the government and given by our customers, our staff is clearly instructed, for all our products we have made arrangements and for each item we have several producers available, also geographically. This guarentees us security.

Our local stocks are insured and well planned, however it may be that you make larger volume purchases from us (FCL), in which case we advice you to contact us earlier (1,5-2 months) than normal with a subsequent order, for volumes upto boxes and pallets (LCL) we advice to 1-1,5 months).

It is possible that there will be a delay in freight and an increase in the price, the earlier we all respond to this, the better. We will of course do evertything we can to support you where possible, as you are used to.

In the meantime we have tried to inform all our relations, this has been done personally and by e-mail. If you have not yet received a message from us, we request that you contact your contact person for more information.

Thank you for your understanding and stay healthy.

With our best wishes and esteem,

Bijlsma Group management
